AKB is a hard-hitting collision of old-school metal attitude and modern nu-metal energy.

Our sound is driven by dynamic, thunderous drums rooted in the power and precision of ’80s metal, bringing big grooves, explosive fills, and enough punch to shake the walls. On vocals, we bring a raw, punk-influenced emo/nu-metal style — emotional when it needs to be, aggressive when it has to be, and never afraid to get ugly.

The bass locks into that same dark, modern nu-metal/emo groove, giving the songs weight, movement, and a low-end pulse you can feel in your chest.

And then there’s the guitar.

Grungy. Filthy. Loud. Rude.

It’s the kind of guitar tone that doesn’t politely ask for attention — it kicks the door down. Heavy riffs, nasty distortion, screaming leads, and enough attitude to wake the neighbors and piss off the walls.

We’re not trying to sound like one era.

We’re taking the power of ’80s metal, the attitude of punk, the emotion of emo, the groove of nu-metal, and the rawness of grunge — and turning it into something loud, dark, unpredictable, and unapologetically ours.
